Shots Fired on Balmoral Street

On August 23, 2012, at approximately 12:50 a.m., patrolling uniform members were flagged down at the rear of the 200 block of Balmoral Street regarding shots fired.    

It was at this time multiple calls had been received by the Winnipeg Police Service.   

Officers observed damage to the building which contains several suites. It was determined that there were eight individuals inside or near the building at the time of the incident. No injuries have been reported.   

No arrest(s) have been made at this time.   

The investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit with the assistance of the Forensic Identification Section.

  1. Nice to see that all of those "laws" in effect by the RCMP are doing so much good. Like limited magazine laws of 5 rounds, that sure helps, (not). Or the infamous "Black Gun" law. That one really helps, because they can classify a gun as, "Scary" with this. Yes, a scary gun with that classification sure does a lot for us citizens, (not). Here's a thought... INSTITUTE CONCEALED CARRY and give citizens the RIGHT to take these scumbags out for heavens sake.

  2. They have concealed carry, it's on the books as Authorization to Carry, (ATC). Only one's that have it though are the Judges & Politicians. The rest of us can basically SUCK IT. Thanks oh great leaders. We KNOW you all LOVE us!
