Two Overnight Knife Robberies...


 


On Sunday, February 10, 2013 at approximately 12:00 a.m. officers were dispatched to the 3700 block of Portage Avenue for the report of a commercial robbery that had just occurred at a gas bar.

The 26 year old male attendant reported that a lone male, armed with a knife entered the store, demanded and received an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes.  The suspect then fled.

The attendant was not injured.

The suspect is described as: Aboriginal in appearance, 20 years of age, 5'6" in height with a thin build and scar below his left eye.

On Sunday, February 10, 2013 at approximately 4:00 a.m. Winnipeg Police Service members were dispatched to a convenience store in the 800 block of Ellice Avenue for the report of a commercial robbery.

The two male employees informed officers that a lone male, armed with a knife entered the store and attended to the till.  The suspect then demanded and received an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes after which he fled the store.

Neither employee was injured.

The suspect is described as: Aboriginal in appearance with short dark hair and a small black moustache.
