Missing mother wanted by Police after kids found dead in bathtub...

Police and fire crews are frantically searching for a Winnipeg mom missing after her two young children were found dead in a bathtub.

Officers were called to the Westwood home of Lisa Gibson, 32, at 8 a.m. Wednesday morning to check on the well-being of her family and found what emergency workers called a “horrible” and “tragic” scene.

Neighbors said the house at 3 Coleridge Park Dr. is home to Lisa Gibson, her husband and their two young children: (a baby boy and two-year-old girl).  News reports have been released that Police have  been in touch with family who confirmed this.

Gibson was believed to be on foot, wearing pajamas. Sources also say police are paying special attention to bodies of water in the city as they search for the woman.
Lisa Gibson has an open Facebook page which includes dozens of happy, smiling photos of her children and family. Her last update was posted on June 18.
Police rushed to a residence on Coleridge Park in the St. James community of Westwood for what they have only confirmed was a "well-being" call. Multiple sources told theFree Press a 911 hang-up call alerted them to a potential problem around 8:45 a.m.
Two children – one about three months old, one about two years old – were found not breathing in the bathroom tub.
Police would not confirm where the children were found or how they died. But Const. Eric Hofley said they were initially taken to hospital in critical condition.
"This is a tragic, tragic incident," said Hofley. "Our thoughts are with the family."
The father of the children was at work but was notified of the situation by police. His wife is now the subject of a major search involving up to 20 police units from both city police and the RCMP, sources say. A police K-9 unit is also on the scene.
A property search indicates the couple has lived there since 2011, which supports information from a neighbour suggesting the couple moved in 18 months ago.
Another neighbour said the couple has an infant son, maybe two to three months old, and a young girl closer to two years old.
